Our microbrewery has state-of-the-art equipment manufactured entirely from stainless steel. Once brewed, two batches of unfermented beer are transferred to cylindrical-conical unit tanks to ferment and mature. To preserve as much flavor as possible, we do not pasteurize our beer but instead use unique sterile filtration processes. Before being packed, our brews are filtered several times through pore filters, ensuring our beer reaches the pub in perfect condition. We will soon be starting guided tours of our microbrewery.

Our fermentation tanks are constructed using SS 304 or SS 316 as desired, designed as cylinder conical tanks with a cone angle between 65 and 72 degrees. These tanks are equipped with a dimple-jacketed glycol cooling system and insulated with 50–60 mm polyurethane foam. Tanks are fitted with high-quality solenoid valves that regulate tank temperature. The cooling surface includes the cone and cylinder areas. Independent cooling for cone and cylinder areas can be optionally provided. All tanks are fitted with high-quality RTD sensors for accurate temperature indication. 

• Tanks are pressure tested to 3.0 bar and are fitted with a safety pressure valve set at 2.5 bar. Single or dual CIP spay balls are fitted for CIP operation. The overhead crossarm extending to the side is provided with a pressure-regulating device and a sanitary air trap for releasing and regulating carbon dioxide during fermentation. Standard provisions include front or overhead manhole openings.
• In the event the fermentation tanks are used as uni-tanks for maturation and beer distribution, tanks can be fitted with beer python line outlets, carbonation inlets, and kegging outlets. Arrangements for applying counterpressure to carbon dioxide are provided in the cross-arm assembly.
• Tanks are also optionally equipped with sampling outlets and inspection glass with lights.
• Tanks are available from 200 liters to 2000 liters in the microbrewery range, and larger capacities are available for full-scale breweries.

What is an industrial chiller?

• Industrial chillers are classified as refrigeration systems that cool a process fluid or dehumidify air in commercial and industrial facilities. A chiller will use either a vapor compression or absorption cycle to cool. Chilled water has a variety of applications, from space cooling to processing.

Types of industrial chillers:

• A chiller is rated at between one and 1000 tons of cooling energy.
• There are three different types of chillers:
• air, water, and an evaporative condensed chiller.

There are four subcategories in each of the above categories for industrial chillers:

• reciprocating,
• centrifugal,
• screw driven
• and absorption chillers.

The first three types are mechanical chillers, which are powered by electric motors, steam, or gas turbines. An absorption chiller is powered by a heat source such as steam and uses no moving parts.

Components of an Industrial Chiller:
The mechanical compression cycle has four basic components through which the refrigerant passes:

• the evaporator
• the compressor
• the condenser
• the expansion valve

The evaporator in the chiller will operate at a lower pressure and lower temperature than the condenser.

• Chillers range from the latest version of the original circulating system. Designed to fit into tight spaces, it provides accurate, dependable control for your process applications and utilizes less floor space.
• The most important feature of this chiller is that it is without a storage tank, and the media to be cooled is chilled directly due to a specially designed SS evaporator. Available in air-cooled and water-cooled models. Having a temperature range from 10°C to 20°C.
• Chillers feature non-corrosive components in both the refrigeration and fluid handling circuits. Combined with a durable supply pump and stainless steel evaporator.
• To ensure precise process fluid temperatures, a microprocessor-based temperature controller is standard on the 1 ton to 3 ton chillers.
• A well-designed, easy-to-operate control panel incorporating fuses, switchgear, and LED displays for fault detection is a standard feature in the full range of chillers.
